Award winning!

I was in Larne on Wednesday might at the NIPA Round 3 Adjudication of the WEX Photo Competition. I was with 2 other members of my camera club, Raw Photographic as we all had prints entered into this round of the competition.

There were so many amazing entries. Northern Ireland has a wealth of talented photographers and I was proud to have my image displayed amongst them all.

I was so thrilled to find out my image ‘Floral Dream’, a portrait photo of the insanely beautiful Mischka was awarded a star. This is an award for images that scored points of 13 or more out 15. ‘Floral Dream’ got 14 points. Meaning 2 judges scored it top marks and one gave 4 out of 5!

This is my 3rd star in this year of the NIPA awards and I just can’t take it in how someone looks at my photography and thinks it’s worthy. I’m so, so grateful.

The next theme for NIPA Round 4 is ‘Industry’. one that I think I might give a miss. I’m too comfortable in my portrait bubble! HaHa!

I’ve got something exciting happening tomorrow, so once I get the images edited, I’ll pop on and show you. It’ll be worth waiting for…..I think!
